    Mirrors

    in Self image

I've struggled with self worth like a lot- that concept of never being 'good enough' has just haunted me.. I'm not entirely sure how to change that in myself-- but i do know that writing is super powerul to me. Once I started writing GOOD things about me, even simple thing like: I have nice eyes-- it helped to burn out the negative. Next time your in front of a mirror-- say ONE thing nice about yourself at least.

Good job darling. I know its hard. I've had eating problems for a while and ive never considered myself beautiful. But God made you to be BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING and i bet YOU ARE. Dont give up on yourself darling you were made for a purpose and even when you dont feel like smiling, smile it will help you feel more happy with yourself over time. I know you can do it im positive.

Great idea Jessica! Maybe write your affirmations on the mirror with a dry erase marker and let them add up! You are making a difference :)
