What's Next?

A message from the founder:

Since its inception in 2017, Project Reasons has reached many thousands of teens (in person and through print, radio, and the web) as far as Australia and New Zealand but many more close to home base in Colorado. Macy, the founder, counts it as a privilege to have been one small part of the mission of suicide prevention and is so grateful to 11 of her peers who all worked tirelessly to help their community by spreading awareness, and reducing stigma. A special thanks to co-founding board members: Cody Adair, Hannah Mitchell, Ashlynn Hideman, Matt Doole, and Clara Park.

It is with some nostalgia and much excitement, that Project Reasons passes the baton and sunsets operations. As of 4/11/2024, Project Reasons has ceased operations and donated all remaining grant funds and donations, to Robbie's Hope.

Robbie's Hope was chosen as our beneficiary after a thorough search of non-profit organizations. Our chief objectives were to find an organization with demonstrated sustainability and a mission aligned with Project Reasons, specifically related to the involvement of teens in suicide prevention efforts. Finding Robbie's Hope was like finding the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow of exceptional non-profit organizations. We have the utmost confidence that Robbie's Hope will continue the significant impact on our commuities that they have already begun. You can learn more about Robbie's Hope, their impactful story, and the efforts they are engaged in, at www.robbies-hope.com

Suicide prevention is an ongoing need that many organizations are continuing to serve and we are so excited about the ongoing work in this area. It is important that we work together. We are stronger when we work together to make an impact on this critical issue that impacts our friends, families and other loved one.

Be well, stay in touch with your Reasons and as

Robbie's Hope Reminds us: pain ends.

Fondly,

Project Reasons Founder
